Las Vegas, April 12 – 15, 2012. I was in Las Vegas for the First Plein Air Convention & Expo. There were many famous artists at the convention, Scott Christensen, Clyde Aspevig, Alexey Steele, Nikolai Dubovik, Jeremy Lipking, Bryan Mark Taylor, Peter Adams, Ken Auster, Kim Lordier, Richard Robinson, and more. Most of them demonstrated a variety of techniques on the stage. I felt like I was both a witness to, and actor in, a new painting era.
